The Games Developers' Club(GDC Club) of Multimedia University(MMU) Cyberjaya is having an event called Gamefest 2 : Behind The Scenes on 27 and 28 of March(Saturday and Sunday) 2010 from 9am to 6pm.
Gamefest is an event organized by GDC club of MMU Cyberjaya. It is based on all types of games such as computer games(e-games), console games, board games, card games, games development(games programming).
Gamefest 2009, which was held on April 2009, won the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest LAN party in the World. With around 200+ PC's and 200+ gamers playing for long hours.
For Gamefest 2010, the new director plans to base more on Games Developement. Upon succeeding in the previous event I organized, which is the Non-Electronic Games Exhibition(NEGE) which involves board games, card games, cubing, cups stacking. The committee of Gamefest 2010 asked me to add in self-interest games into the event. Self-interest games such as cubing, yoyo, cups stacking, pen spinning, etc.
There will be workshops/performances/demonstrations for cubing, cups stacking, pen spinning and yoyo. Interested in learning any of these? Come and join us !
Currently, there will be competition for 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. The fees for joining is RM5, certificates will be provided to all participants, medals and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners.
There might also be cups stacking competition(currently still discussing with WSSA Malaysia).

MMU Cyberjaya is reachable by public transport, so do not worry if you do not have private transport. Many of our students also uses public transport to come to MMU Cyberjaya.
